Smart Plans

Smart plans give you all the benefits of a regular Basic plan but also include super-fast internet access from your smartphone. High Speed Mobile Internet (also known as HSDPA) is much faster than standard mobile internet (EDGE and 3G) and is only available on HSDPA-enabled Smartphones with a Smart plan. Get all the minutes, texts and handset discounts of a Basic plan PLUS access the internet at super-fast broadband speeds.

We've improved Smart plans by introducing Smart Starter; a plan tailored to those new to smartphones and on a low budget, but wanting the experience of high speed internet. You get a generous allocation of high speed data, minutes and texts, for as little as £13.60 a month. We've also launched Smart Ultimate; a new plan for heavy use from under £40 a month, we'll give you a heafty 2000 minutes plus unlimited texts and high speed data!

*Data access will cease after the 7 days free period for a £5 top up, 14 days for a £10 top up and 30 days for a £20 top up. After this time top up by a minimum £5 to resume unlimited data access and avoid being charged at the normal rate. Unlimited data subject to a fair-usage policy of 500MB/day. Service may be restricted or charged after limits have been reached. Not available when roaming.

Free to receive boosters

When you're abroad with your phone and somebody calls you, the caller will be charged the standard cost of a phone call, but you will pay the remaining portion of the roaming charge. If you travel often and receive calls, a Free to receive booster may interest you.

Free to receive boosters allow Smart and Basic plan customers to receive calls free in the UK and Europe* for £5 a month, or worldwide for £10 a month. They work on a rolling monthly basis so you can purchase one for a limited time - ideal for that one-off trip abroad, or ongoing for frequent travellers.

Buy in-store only from 1st August 2012.
* Excludes Turkey, Switzerland, Russia and Greece.
Only available to Smart and Basic plan customers.
Subject to a fair usage limit of 200 minutes/month. Incoming calls may be chargeable at the normal rate after limit has been reached.
